I’ve been needing my tomorrow
Walking through a sorrowful tunnel
I have been searching for the day light
But I keep following the tunnel
I walk alone in my yesterdays
Always on my mind
Never ceasing to come back and hurt me
I walk on broken glass and tar
Keeping me from the end
I crawl on hands and knees now
Bleeding and dragging my self it seems
I pull my self hand over hand
Through it all praying for a solution
My tears and my faith are gone and empty
My yesterdays just bringing me down farther and farther
Yet I look past today to my tomorrow
I only need a grain of light
A hope fulfilled
I see a light before me
I see my tomorrows
Where the pains and sorrows of yesterday and today
Are gone and so my bonds as well
My bonds to my memories

Hidden sorrows
Listening to the words
Always listening and speaking words to others
Giving insight when possible for those I care for
But always listening
As I listen I contemplate everything
Trying to find a solution within a rubix cube
Yet I continue to listen
Hearing things that hurt me most
But I push it away and hide away my sorrows
I listen to every word and I crumble away
I listen to your desires and little secrets
And when I turn from you
It isn’t because I’m not listening it’s because
I am hiding my sorrows from you
My sorrows are well hidden within but
I can only keep up the façade for so long
Before breaking down but yet trying to hide away
My tears, my sorrows are not yours to bear
But are my own
I hide my emotion from you because
If you knew why
I would lose my world
My sorrow and tears are hidden away
And yet I think you see them
It seems I can’t hide my sorrows from you
My tears are few
My love for my friends is many
Yet one and only one can see
The hidden sorrows
